When did you test positive?

It's 4 days before my AF and DH is convinced that I'm not preggers. He says if I was it would have shown up already.
Want to do a tally, when each of you tested positive...

How many days before or after AF was due ??

I remember buying a bunch of $ Tree tests and started testing every day about 4 days before AF was due. The first day, I thought I saw the faintest line, but couldn't be sure (or didn't believe what I was seeing?). Each day, I swear I saw the line a little bit more, until I finally tested it the day before AF was due and it the line was DARK. I even did it during the afternoon, not first thing in the morning! I just didn't pee for about 3 or  hours so that the hcg was more concentrated. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to start AF on a Sunday or Monday, though, so I may have even found out two days before AF. My period had been a little wierd the previous months...and I had actually been O'ing two days earlier than was expected! Our bodies are so quirky! :-)

Just remember, it ain't over til AF sings!

i tested the day af was due and got a very faint pink line...a week after with the digital (just to make sure) and it instantly said "PREGNANT"

I didn't test positive till I was 7 weeks.

Not to be superstitious or anything but every time I test before AF, I get af later in the day or the day after.  I know its hard, and I'm going crazy myself but at least test two or 3 days after missed period.  Also, there have been some posts of male intuition which I don't really buy it (at least my husband is oblivious to pregnancy signs) but for some people it works.
My other phylosophy (which is hard for me) is that when you least expect it, that's when you are pregnant.

I took a test 1 week before I thought I would start and just a few days before and both were negative. I took one the day of still negative. But the test the day after was positive. After so many negative tests I went bought a digital one that says pregnant / not pregnant and it came back pregnant.

I tested the day before af was due and it was bfn... but the day after af was due I tested again and it was a bfp.  The thing is preg tests usualy cant detect below 50 hcg... and your numbers double i think its every 48 hours so i would wait a few days, it could be that your preg your hcg just isnt high enough yet for a hpt to pick it up.

i got my bfp 10dpo...showed up INSTANTLY!....at 14dpo (day AF would be due) my hcg were 1,100/ml.

I got my BFP at 11 DPO but could have gotten it at 8-9 DPO but I had dud tests at 11DPO my HCG was 92.9

I tested positive 5 days before my missed period but my cycle is very long (42 days) and so even though I was 5 days before my missed period, I was still 18 DPO. I knew exactly when I ovulated because I had been tracking my BBT and using OPKs.

It usually takes about 2 weeks after possible conception to test positive on a HPT. Some women take a little less time, and others take a little more time - there are SO many factors that come into play that will effect HCG detection (when you actually ovulated, how long it took for the embryo to implant, when you take the test, how concentrated the urine is, sensitivity of the test, etc.etc.etc).

It took me 5 days after AF was due to get a BFP and that was with an expensive, sensitive test (the cheapos showed a negative)

I tested 2 days before and it was positive. 3 days before it was negative.

I tested positive one week after a/f was due, it came up positive right away.
