At 23 weeks the uterus is only about an inch passed your belly button. So its normal to feel them low. My daughter was head down early on and I felt her really low and when she would stretch I could feel her feet in my ribs. This baby is sideways, presenting shoulder first  I feel him at my hips every now and then but mainly at belly button level and a bit higher.

The only movements I felt for the longest were really low....i dont know if its related but I was, told I had an anterior placenta but I think it has moved now or the baby is facing the side because now my biggest kicks are only on my left side!

I had no issues until recently. Now I have so much pelvic pressure it hurts to lift my legs to put my pants on. I'm peeing on myself (not a lot lol just little spots) and not knowing it. I waddle when I walk. I'm carrying so low that I think my leaking problem might be her pushing urine out of me. Seems like she can't stand when there is anything in my bladder!! Lol

I'm carrying low too and I'm 31+2 and I had an ultrasound and she's head down facing my spine. I feel her kick a little higher now but never in the ribs. I feel her below my ribs though

She may be breech, I'm 26w and my little girl kicks me way more frequently in my pant line/pelvic area..once in a while I'll get a kick between the ribs, at this stage baby can still move from breech and back easily, so it's not anything to worry about!
