When should I pack my hospital bag & install the carseat?

I'm 32 weeks and a ftm, when should I pack the hospital bag and put the carseat in the car? Is it too early and I'm just being anxious? Haha I don't want to get into an accident and have the carseat be void.

I packed my baby's stuff around 34 weeks and I packed my stuff when I thought I was in labor at 37 weeks. Car seat was installed at 37 weeks too. But I have my bag 100% packed since Tuesday because I have been waiting for a call to say a bed is open for me to be induced. So I would pack some of your clothes and a few other things before getting too close to your due date and that way when your in labor trying to time contractions, you don't have to spend a lot of time packing, just the last minute things like glasses, contacts, toothbrush, etc.

I did it at 36 weeks I personally believe is the right time..

I had my bags packed and car seat base installed at 34 weeks lol I was just that anxious every time I popped  my trunk I smiled lol

Im 35wks tomorrow but i couldnt wait so i packed my bag at 34wks. I just need to install her bottom part of the carseat into the car then I'm good to go. I might pack my own essentials along with my hospital bag too.

I am 37 weeks and I just started packing the hospital bag today. I have babies going home outfit, a spare outfit, two pj's for baby, 4 pairs of socks, 4 pairs of mittens, 4 pairs of beanies, 2 onsies, wipes, not taking diapers since th hospital will provide it, and I have 4 burping clothes, and two blankets for baby! For me I have only the nipple guard for breastfeeding packed and a nice shirt for my husband to wear since I will be taking loads of pictures! Lol. As for car seat we just bought ours this last Saturday and wont be putting it in for another 10 days, once I start my pregnancy leave.

I started on the babys bag when i was 32 weeks and today (34weeks) i just finished putting the rest that i forgot. Im planning on putting the carseat after the baby is born, my mom or bf can bring the carseat when its time for me and the baby to go home, im planning on doing my bag in a week or so just incase, you never know when this babies are gonna come out lol

I would do it already! I went into preterm labor at 35 weeks and the day i went into labor i put the carseat in and did my hospital bag..thank god! So i recommend doing it. Better safe than sorry

I am 38w and just finished packing my bag, although I did start thinking about items at 34w.  We had a "car seat check" event in town where certified people would install the seat for us when I was 35w so it's been done since then.
