could i have been misdiagnosed?

at 5 weeks and 5days the doctor noticed fetus A and fetus B, went back for and ultrasound  and only 1 baby but i still feel there's two? Could the doctor be wrong about one vanishing? I had no bleeding or cramping, lots of fatigue and hunger, more than normal

I think they are missing the baby...its hard for them to find the heartbeat of the one that they say is in here...and I've only had two ultrasounds..one in the emergency room and the other in the doctors office but i wasnt 20 weeks...i was only 11 weeks...im soo confused because im feeling like there's two and im now 22weeks and they have neglected to schedule me a gender ultrasound...i have requested it tho...

its possible, there is also the chance that one twin absorbed the other. in a lot of those cases the twin that is still around if they show signs of two sets of DNA or have.two sets they are considered.a chimera. my ex husband is like this, he absorbed his.twin in early pregnancy when they were in the womb. it os also possible they just missed the 2nd baby and you can always ask for another ultrasound to check.
