Why am I going to the OB every 2 weeks?

This is my second baby. No problems with the first, she was born 40w6d perfectly healthy. She's 2. I'm 19 now. And I just realized, I'll be 28 weeks this weekend. But I've been going to the doctor every 2 weeks for the past 2 appointments, so since I was almost 24 weeks. I went in today and scheduled my next for 2 weeks.
I'm not high risk, no problems or anything. And I just realized this maybe an hour ago and am now freaking out.
If their was a problem they would tell me, correct?!

Seeing the doctor every 2 weeks from  28 to 36 weeks is typical. Here is more on making the most of your OB appointments from MedHelp.org.

I go to the doctors every 2 weeks and im only 20 weeks

Same here ive been going since 28 weeks every two weeks an now im 36 weeks and go weekly

So ask your doctor?

Surely they'd tell you if there was a problem. Why don't you ask?
Hell I'd love if my appointments were every two weeks already.
