How far along were you when you had to quit wearing your wedding ring?

How far along were you when you had to quit wearing your wedding ring?  My fingers aren't exactly swollen.  I proabably wouldn't be able to tell that they were, if I didn't wear my wedding band.  They were swollen for a few days, and when they went down I took my rings off and I am not going to put them back on.  The days they were swollen, the temperature here was 95+ and the a/c went out at the school I teach at, so I'd say that it has something to do with it.  I was just curious how far along everyone else was...I am almost 27 weeks.

I took mine off around 19 weeks, now 21 weeks. I couldn't tell that they were swollen either except for my rings not wanting to budge. I feel a little naked too without them... And I have noticed that I have been getting some very weird looks from the older southern women around here. They look at the belly and then my left hand and then away in disgust. Rude....

Thanks ladies! I am glad I am not alone.  I too hated to take off my wedding ring, but I am afraid not to take it off too (b/c I have been swollen previously).

I hadn't even considered this!

This is my first pregnancy wearing a wedding ring, and I'm 18 weeks and it is definitely getting tighter.

I hope I don't have to take it off, but I know that I get quite bad swelling towards the end...

I think I will wear it on a necklace if I end up having to remove it.

When I was about 4 or so months I went and bought a cheap silver ring (with pretty stones) to wear. I am like a size 6 and i got a size 7-7 1/2 and it was a bit loose for a month but I'd rather have it loose than get my REAL ring cut off.

Hot Hot Hot sounds nice to me as i am really sick of the cold weather (not that Aust cold  is much comparison to you guys) I didn't really have any swelling with baby no.1 until after i gave birth then i looked all puffed up for about 4 days (nice photos lol)- apparently you can still get pregnancy symptoms for  up to a month after having your baby (as if 9 months is not long enough lol).

LACh it's definitely been HOT HOT HOT in the States so that's probably why American "Mums" are more swollen! LOL! But today was cold (at least where I am)!!! Not looking forward to winter...

Never did with my first pregnancy (they even just taped it up during birth) and this time at 28 weeks i can still twist it around with room to spare.  Not sure if the weather has anything to do with that as it has been winter but hopefully things will stay the same.

First pregnancy--- didn't have to until I gave birth.

Second pregnancy--- pretty quickly because I got bigger faster and was more swollen. I ended up not wearing my wedding ring for almost 2 years (the pregnancy and then after she turned 1 I finally got the ring re-sized when I realized I wasn't losing the weight).

what if you have the opposite effect and I have to take mine off because they won't stay ON!!! I was doing laundry this afternoon and I freaked out because I lost them in the clothes! I can't get mine to stay on my ring finger....My fingers aren't swelling but shrinking....I'm 35 weeks this Saturday...I'm thinking of just wearing them...

I think I quit around 17 weeks maybe.  I probably didn't HAVE to at that point, but I knew I would eventually (this my 3rd baby), and it already felt uncomfortable in the mornings and when I took it off at night.  So I just resolved to put it away until later.  It's wonderful when you do get it back on and it seems so shiny and new suddenly!:)

I have 7 days before I am being induced and I just stopped wearing mine last week! With my daughter I stopped wearing them around 7 months because I gained a lot more weight with her.
