So I tried bananas, mustard, vinegar, water, power aid drink, the only thing that took away the pain is walking around. As soon as a I sat!laid back down it started cramping again. Needless to say I've been up for a while. But on the plus side I got a lot of cleaning done!
Even not pregnant, i get 3-4 a night. What I find to help is to quickly stand up even tho it hurts and put lots of pressure on the leg. I used to put my leg up like other poster said but that stopped hurting. I use a heating pad the days where it hurts during the day. Bananas don't help me at all so I wish I knew how to make it stop

I've had about 6 now since being pregnant, just had one a short while ago trying to get out of bed. What works for me is quickly laying on your back (I say quickly cus they hurt so dang much) lift the leg the hurts as hogh as you can and grab you big toe and pull your leg towards you. (Without hurting yourself of course) if you need help and you have a partner have them pull the toe and leg back for you. But thats what has worked for me.
I wish I knew! I get Charlie horses in my legs almost every night, like three times throughout the night when im sleeping, wakes me up real quick. They hurt :(
