Also if you need to you can use the yeast infection cream on yourself.
My husband and I have the same thing going on, its more then likely the discharge, the meds for the yeast infection will help her with the itching and burning but it will help alot if you both wash before and after sex.
It's pretty normal for things to get itchy down there for various reasons. I've had three yeast infections throughout my pregnancy (also my first child, and my husband notices with some mild itching as well). Obviously treat whatever infection it is, bath soaks are soothing, keep the area dry even if it means her wearing panty protectors. I cut down on sugary treats and drink a lot of cranberry Juice and I think it helps. My doctor has an ongoing prescription for yeast infection medicine for me but I've heard otc Monistat works just fine too.
It could be her hormones changing. The natural bacteria in the vagina could be out of wack as well. It may be bv. Bacterial vaginosis. That's what the antibiotic could be for.
Babies get yeast infections and to treat it you use a topical cream. When my youngest son got one, the doctor recommended Lotrimin (yes. The same stuff for athletes feet) to treat it. Works well. I would imagine it would be the same for a guy. Could give that a try.
I got a yeast infection twice through out my pregnancy it sounds like that is what she has. My ob let me treat it myself with over the counter stuff first I used the store brand second time I used monistat. My partner has never felt different and has had no symptoms of anything from the yeast infection. I've heard it's hard for a male to get one from thier partner. And I have no idea how you would treat it for a male either. For a women you have to insert the cream into the vagina with a tube. Oh and it's good she is in her second trimester too it's not recommended to treat during first trimester. But you might want to see your doctor about what's going on with you to find out how to treat yourself

That could be it! But I'm the same way.. Pregnancy discharge is just gross and it makes me itch in general. I bathe twice a day (if I had time I would probably just live in my bathtub lol) and that helps some.
Sounds like a yeast infection
