Worried and Confused!!!

I had my tubes tied last July, I missed my period in may Took a home pregnancy test and it came back positive. I talked to my obgyn and he though I was crazy but went ahead and  sent me to get blood work. The blood work came back that I was pregnant and that the count was around 3000. I had an internal ultrasound which showed nothing. about two weeks later I had more blood work and my count went down to 200. My obgyn said i will just miscarry and he was going to shoot dye into me to check my tubes but i still feel pregnant. I feel little kicks in my lower abdominal. What should I do? Can the baby actually survive?

Although if the counts are dropping that low it was probably a bad pregnancy and the baby may already be dead.  The symptoms may take a while to disappear but I would do the dye thing.  They might have to fix the tie or something.

My mother had two children before she had her tubes tied somewhere between 1990 and 1993.  In early 1994 she found out she was pregnant with a third.  The doctors insisted it was an ectopic pregnancy and that they should do a D&C.  My dad refused saying they had their dates all wrong.  Well, a little while later the doctors came and apologized to him.  In December of 1994 she gave birth to a healthy baby boy... and my dad got a vasectomy.

Dear crazy45503 my name is Nichole i am 26 years old...i had my tubes tied 2 1/2 years ago after my lil girl....this month was my first weird period since then. it came out of no where i wasn't even due for it yet and the pain was so intense i even had some clots that were big then 2 days later it was gone...but now i still wake up w a small headache i sleep a lot or if i am not sleeping i am tired. I don't know what to make of these weird changes. I spoke with my ob and she wants me 2 take a pregnancy test.

I would "think" that with your levels dropping that much there is little hope, but it was a maricle you got pregnant in the first place so who knows. You could have your dr do more blood work. I think that if you had a missed miscarraige you still have the pregnancy symptoms and you might have to have a d&c.
