If she is a thicker girl that could be it. For me my Dr gave me ultrasounds at 11 and 14 weeks to see heartbeat after it was just the dopler. Also unfortunately the baby could have passed or the person looking didn't know where to find it. They maybe be doing a follow up with lab work.
She's not huge but a little bit bigger but would that effect a vaginal ultrasound? She didn't seem worried but that would worry me
I am 15w today and haven't heard my baby's heartbeat on a doppler because my placenta is in the front.
Ah that makes me feel better for her. Thanks!
I went to the dr three days ago and I was 12+4 they coukdnt hear the heart beat either. This happend with my first too... don't woory tell her she's fine they will do an ultrasound I'm going for mine on Thursday.
Im a bigger person saw the babies heartbeat beating away at 10 weeks.. heard the heartbeat at 14.. midwife said that it was brilliant we heard it at 14 weeks cuz baby is still low and it can be harder to find it.. if she seen it tho thats a good thing
Did they not see/hear it by ultrasound or Doppler?
If it eas a vaginal ultrasound idk why you wouldn't be able to hear it. And maybe if she couldn't hear it they showed it to her. My obgyns one ultrasound machines sound is broke but they maake sure her hearts beating and I have a doppler I listen to it whenever I want to :) good luck to ur friend.
I Couldn't Hear My Baby At 13 Weeks. I'm Almost 30 Weeks And Everything Is Fine. They Ended Up Doing A Ultrasound And Seeing The Baby. My Doctor Said Its Ok If You Don't Hear It Right Away...
I'm Not Huge Either 124 When I Was At That App
They couldn't hear with a vaginal ultrasound
