Baby shower/ diaper raffle

Okay so I'm going to have a baby shower and I know people go out of their way to buy a gift for that but would it be wrong if I also had a diaper raffle that day? I would have a $20 $15 & $10 gift card to give to first second and third place winner's.  But idk if that is asking to much of people to be honest diapers are really the only main thing I need we pretty much have everything else.. I was going to put on the invitation that if they don't want to be part of the diaper raffle that is totally fine . Am I asking to much?

If you have pretty much everything you need for baby,  tell people to bring only diapers, gift cards or cash gifts.  That's what i did at mine.
We had purchased everything, so we just asked for gift cards. People had no problems with that.

I'm going to do a diaper raffle to. In my invitations I wrote bring a diaper any size and you'll be put into a raffle. I figure that some people will bring them and some won't. I don't think you are making them feel obligated.

I did a diaper raffle at my baby shower. We made the invitations so we just put at the bottom to bring a pack of diapers or wipes to be entered in a special raffle. We had about 60 people and got around 20 boxes of diapers and like 7 or 8 wipes packs. The prize was a movie night pack, it was two movie tickets with a gift card for popcorn and drinks.

Definitely not! Most showers I've been to lately had daiper raffles. People understand so don't worry about it. & yea, putting it on the invitation is a great idea.
