low HCG levels
Hi,
I've done IVF on March 18th and my first pregnacy test was on April 1st. From the results my HCG level is positive, but still very low to give me any certainty, 8.2.
Has anybody experienced a level low like mine?

If you took HCG trigger shots then your result could've been because of the trigger shot. When levels go down like that it is not a good sign. That is why I think it was your HCG shot that may have caused that.
I went today for the second pt and the hcg level went down to 3!!! How is that possible? Could it go back up?? I haven't had any kind of bleeding... I'm just stunned....
I think everyone's levels have to start off somewhere, you just happened to start checking them really early. It sounds promising as I think anything >5 is considered positive for pregnancy. I'm sure that as you've just undergone IVF you dr is going to continue to monitor your hcg to make sure that it rises as expected. Good luck and congratulations!
