you shouldn't have any issues if you were covered. However you need to let your employers know that you are pregnant to prevent those potential hazards to your baby.
When I was pregnant with my son, I broke my femur! (The bone between your elbow and shoulder.... ouch!!!) There was no way I could avoid getting xrays... I was covered in the lead gown. I gave birth to a very healthy little boy! There should be no worries.
There shouldn't be any issues with the baby since you wore the lead apron. Just be sure to let your ob/gyn know.
I had to have several x-rays in my last 2 pregnancies and both of my daughters are healthy.
Baby will be fine! It is long-term exposure that will cause the most damage. Definitely left your employer know that you can no longer participate.
BTW, one of my husband's cousins is pregnant and is a radiologist. She takes X-rays all the time and while I'm not sure if she's still doing it, just wanted you to know that she was probably exposed as well but, as a medical professional, is not concerned.
When I was 3 months pregnant I had to get X-rays of my hand because I slit my thumb wide open (had to check for nerve damage) and my daughter was born full term and perfectly healthy!
