I went for an early ultrasound and I was told there is a gestational sac and a yolk sac but no fetal pole yet. Her said I'm between 5-6 weeks and it could be to early to see it. I go back next Tuesday for another ultrasound but I cant stop stressing over not seeing the baby yet

Its Fine Don't Stress Your Self That's what Happens With My Pregnacey This Time I Had Went At 5weeks And 1 Day And They Only Saw A Sac No Yolk Sac Long Behold At My 8week ultrasound There Was A Liddo Baby With A Heart Beat Now Almost 21weeks

At 4 weeks you could see my yolk sac, at 6 weeks I got to see the fetal pole. The doctor said she was surprised to see even the yolk sac so clearly so early. So it's normal, everything is fine (:

Thanks everyone.  And I didn't mean see a baby with a head, arms, and legs. I have been pregnant before and saw the heartbeat at 5 weeks but it ended shortly after that.

Nothing to worry about I was told at the hospital at 5 weeks that there was no fetal Pole and a week later I was told there was still no fetal pole and at almost 8 weeks there she was with a strong heartbeat I'm now almost 33 weeks

Of course it's too early to see the baby.
Have you ever seen a pregnancy stage diagram????
There's no good reason to worry.
I was told the same thing and was like "okay cool so there IS a pregnancy and i get to see the baby develop over time"
They don't just pop up with a head, arms, and legs. They have to develop haha
It's an interesting thing to witness.
Just wait till you see them wiggle around on screen. It's amazing

Same here :/ we couldn't get a heartbeat either but don't stress your most likely not far along enough!

Yup my first ultrasound this time around we didn't actually see baby. Scared the crap out of me! But we were about five weeks at the time. We're thirty one weeks tomorrow and doing great.
