addicted to testing (HPT)

Was anyone here addicted to testing (HPT) My boyfriend found a pile of HPT in the garbage and thought i had a problem. Sometimes I would do it twice a day, if I had to go to the toilet without it i felt like I was wasting my pee. Then suddenly when the doctor told me I was pregnant I didnt believe her and felt like I still needed to buy more tests. Did anyone have these similar problems?

Yep!  Sometimes 2x a day......sometimes I go back into the garbage (not the nasty kitchen garbage, mind you) to see if they miraculously changed over a few hours!  DUH...Why not just keep them out for hours???

yeah i had the same problem..once i get BFP, the addiction goes away.. never felt like testing again..now i am addicted to ultrasound..!!

oh god, before i found out i was preggo with this one (12 weeks) i was testing all the time, i had them hidden in the cupboard and didnt want my honey to think i was nuts there were boxes and boxes!!! so id wait for him to go to work and go throw the outside in the trash LOL..but finally got the bfp before xmas, so now im saving money haha..!!

Me to Diela. Once I got a bfp I was fine... but I am 17 weeks and have had 6 ultrasounds LOL

in october of 06 i thought i was pregnant..bought so many tests..a friend of mine is a nurse and she brought me some from the hospital as well..i was soooooo convinced i was pregnant.even after bloodwork from doc came back negative,i asked them to repeat it.guess it wasnt my time then..kept convincing myself that i saw a dark enough line coming through,but i was wrong... this time,when i went back for bloodwork,in sept 07,found out i was 9 weeks along...cant even remember how many tests i took,but it was alot..
