Wondering what is going on?!? HELP

I am  a 23 year old female. I am wondering what is going on for about few months now I seem to have constant discharge and when my period is about to finish i tend to get a very sore bump in my vagina that last for a few days but it comes during that time. Lately on the lips of my vagina i have had terrible itching and because i scratch it bleeds can anyone tell any information on what it could be. I have gone to the doctor a few months back and she said the only thing that she saw were some clue cells and gave me some medication that didn't really help. can anyone help me please??

Are there visible sores? Herpes doesn't just cause itching without sores that have pus. Also, herpes doesn't just pop up every month after your period. It could be thrush or a yeast infection. I would go back to the doctor (or maybe a different one.)
