Goes back to normal. I had a third degree tear and my midwife didn't bother to count stitches because there were so many! It took several months to feel normal again and have it not hurt during sex, but now it feels awesome. I would say for me at least some things changed. Our go to sex positions are just "meh" now but our old "meh" positions are now awesome! Kinda funny how that works!

Sometimes the outside skin of your vagina can become lax but I had a stitch and a balloon catheter in me to help dialate and everything went back into place and bound  notice no difference so you should have nothing to worry about.
