I was instructed by a nurse to track my temperature each day. I would suggest checking your temperature before going to bed at night and after waking up in the morning. I have irregular periods also, which makes it very hard when ttc. Patience is still your best option. With you having irregular periods it doesnt help at all to stress. I got pregnant in November and my last period prior to that was the end of July. When you have irregular periods I think everything is actually irregular. If you have had intercourse the other day because of the ovulation test i think you should take another pregnancy test around the first week of February.
good luck with your baby making, don't make intercourse all about having a baby it's important that you still enjoy your partner
i am trying to get pregnant . i dont have regular periods tho. last month my last period was. i either have it at the end of the month or beginning. wen i spotted it was almost as if i spotted for one day then it was my period the last three days...idk
It sounds like you are trying to become pregnant. If you are then there is not a reason to rush anything. You should take a pregnancy test after your first missed period. If you really don't want to wait that long then you should see if your doctor will do a blood test for you.
How do you know you ovulated on the 9-12th of January? When you get a positive ovulation test it means you will typically ovulate within the next 12-48 hours, with the average being 36 hours.
It's very difficult to track exactly when you ovulate. An ovulation test will only tell you that you will "potentially" ovulate, not that you definitely will. It tracks your LH surge.
Tracking your BBT will tell you that you did in fact ovulate.
So I would say since you got a positive ovulation test today (depending on when you caught the LH surge) that you will most likely ovulate within the next day or so. You can take a pregnancy test 14 days after you ovulate for an accurate result
Hope that helps, sorry if it's confusing.
Good question. Do you have regular periods? Did you have sex with in this time? How do you know you ovulated 9-12? 13-16 could be implantation (Implantation happens 5 to 9 days after conception. Once the egg has successfully implanted itself, the lining of the uterus sheds some blood. The blood travels down and presents itself 7 to 10 days after implantation. This is called implantation bleeding. By the time this spotting of blood reaches the outside, it has become "old" and thus looks black, brown, or dark red) If this is so your test will may negative. In order for pregnancy test to show positive you HCG level rises, you level may be low at this time. Give it a few more weeks, no period take another test.
