Question about BBT and Sensitive Cervix

I just started this month with my temp I take it every morning before getting out of bed. Its been kind of high and low I'm not sure if that's how everyone's temp works or if maybe its because i bought the thermometer for two dollars on the clearance rack? Any thoughts on that? You can take a look at my tracker

I also noticed starting two days ago that my cervix is very sensitive during intercourse to the point where I had to make my husband stop for a few mins before continuing. Is this normal?

I looked at your chart. It looks like you could be about to ovulate. Some women, the day they actually O will have a temp drop, and the next morning it will be high again and continue to rise above the coverline. However, I do have some questions regarding your charting. Are you taking it at the same time every morning? This is important bc for every hour you go over your normal time your temp increases by .2 of a degree. Also you must make sure that you are getting at least five hours of sleep before you take your temp, otherwise the reading won't be accurate.

As far as the thermometer goes, as long as it says it's accurate to .1 of a degree on the packaging, you're okay. I have a sensitive cervix at various times during my cycle as well, so I think it's pretty normal. But, if this is a new thing for you I would speak to my OB/GYN.

I didn't know you were suppose to take it at the same time everyday. I take it close to the same time everyday within the same hour usually there was one day this week i took it a half hour later. I use the ovulation strips and i thought i got a positive the other day they looked to be about the same in color but wasn't positive so we bd'd anyways and i noticed yesterdays was lighter and todays was really light.. so maybe I already ovulated? Could that be why my cervix is sensitive and this is a new thing for me.Do you think fertile aid could cause that to happen where it is my first month taking it?

I never used fertile aid, so I'm unsure of the side effects it could cause. You generally ovulate within 24-48 hours of a positive OPK. The ideal time to take the OPK is between 2-6pm. They aren't accurate with fmu. OPK's never worked for me at all. So, if you got a positive and your bbt went up then you ovulated.
