Anyone's pets getting extra clingy since being pregnant?

I write this as my cat is sleeping on me...my cat has always been more attached to me than anyone else..but since I've been pregnant she follows me everywhere, if I go upstairs she's following me up and rubbing up on me, if I go nap she's napping with me, if I watch tv downstairs there she is right behind me on the couch..I can call her from anywhere in the house and she comes running full speed! The dog is the same but not as crazy clingy as the cat lol the dog is more of a guard of me since becoming pregnant

Oh, and my SIL was pregnant at the same time and she avoided her, too. She's super protective of my son now. When he was a newborn and we put him in hubbys mom's bed to nap, she'd sit by his feet and the second he woke, she'd cry until someone came in to get him.

My cats have always been pretty attatched to me but juss recently two of my dogs are started to get attatched to me too.. They know not to go in my room even wit the door open but they still always try sneaking in there

My husbands mom has the dacshund that follows me around constantly when I'm there. Everyone's calls her my butt plug lol when I leave, she cries at the door for 2 hours.

With my son, we lived there for a while and she did everything with me. She even tried hopping in the shower a few times and she hates baths.

Its even weirder because she doesn't like ANYONE and avoids people at all costs... except me...

My cats are driving me insane. Like. Completely mad. They won't give me two feet of space. I try pushing them away and they come right back. The only thing that works for me is shaking a water bottle. And even that only keeps them away few min tops.

My dog ignored me all through out pregnancy until the night i went into labor she stayed by my side all that day n it really irritated me n every time i had a contraction i would sit on the toilet n she was right their with me Im pretty sure she knew it was time lol n it sure was

I have three dogs and I'm pretty sure one knew I was pregnant before we did. Now he's like glue attached to me everywhere I go. If I'm sitting he's on my lap or right next to me. If I'm in the kitchen he's there watching everything I'm doing.

I have two dogs an the smaller one has always followed me around,sometimes the bigger one. But for the past few months the bigger one follows me around an STARES at me all day long lol..its sooo creepy an annoying.hopefully after the baby comes she stops being such a weirdo..

My dog is the same way but I'm finding it no matter where I go, if am animal is around, its glued to my side.

I have 2 dogs and ever since I found out I was pregnat they have been glued to my side no matter what I am doing its kinda funny at times but then again I'm constantly having to watch for them so I don't trip
