another Question... about cervix position

For women who are (or have been) pregnant...does your cervical position move from high up to mid-low? Or does it stay high during the first trimester?

I was told that unless you check your cervix everyday at the same exact time, that its position is irrelevant at any given day/time.  I was trying to check mine in early pregnancy to see if it was firm like a nose or soft and I was telling my ob this and he said that unless if you check it every day at the same time, it is deceiving.  It can shift positions though the day at different times and during different days of your cycle it can vary as well.  SO, I guess I don't really have an answer...talk to your doctor...AND I was told not to check myself either!  Even though I was washing my hands etc. too.

idk i would ask your dr. just dont try to "check" yourself. it could put all kinds of germs inside you. just ask, u might be able to call the hospital and maybe they can tell you. good luck
