You'll be fine. I had to get an emergency c-section with my first daughter. I had it because after 26hours of contracting, her heart beat went down. I was so scared. Thankfully I did fine. My mom tried to make me stay in bed for like 40 days, without walking around, just to use the restroom and take a shower. I was out taking walks in less than a week. The more you move around after a c-section, the faster you heal, just don't over do it.
As long as you're staying put, (try doing as LITTLE as possible!), you should make it to 34 weeks, my SIL had pre-eclampsia and was on bedrest for 2 weeks before she delivered, natural, and a healthy baby! If your BP gets too high during natural delivery, they will take the baby via c-section, but try to stay positive, and hope for the outcome you want! As for the c-section, when I went into labor with my son, I got to 8cms with no pain medicine for them to lose his H/B, I had an emergency c-section, and I was TERRIFIED because I had never had any surgery before, it was NOT bad at all!! As long as you stay calm and relax, you'll be fine! As soon as they allowed me to get up, I was up and walking, and as long as you don't baby yourself you bounce back just as quickly as a vaginal delivery. I left the hospital, fully dressed and hair/makeup done, to go to my work and show off my new baby! You'll be just fine hun!! Hoping you get a positive outcome!! Good luck, and congratulations on your soon to be baby!
