I have the Your pregnancy week by week. it's not to bad and it goes through everything based on how far along you are. But I also have the what to expect when expecting and about 6 other ones that my sister gave to me.
i'd be lost with out my 'what to expect when your expecting' and if it werent for this book, i'd be on the phone to my midwife 24/7 with different questions!!
Up the duff by Kaz Cooke. Very funny, week by week breakdowns as well as her own personal experience in diary form of every week.
I had what to expect 4yrs ago with my little one...Jus found out im preg I HAVE TO GET ANOTHER COPY
actually I fibbed, this book was the best I've ever used "pregnancy and childbirth"by sheila kitzinger :)
I had a book called pregnancy week by week that was really nice. I also had what to expect but never read it.
I loved my What to Expect book. I think the books all really depend on what type of book you're looking for. I have a used bookstore in my town and that's where I went to see what type of pregnancy book I wanted.
Up the Duff by Kaz Cooke. It is an Australian Book but lists week by week and is veru funny. very true what she writes though. Love it!
I love my Your Pregnancy Week By Week book! Its awesome instead of month by month you get week to week information and pictures of what your baby looks like each week and everything it says my dr agrees with.
conception pregnancy and birth by mirium stoppard was a favourite of mine and my bible
thats really funny, i have the same thoughts as the prev posts, i liked what to expect... i also got the mayo clinic guide to a healthy pregnancy(for my second preg) and i dont mind it, i wish it would tell you the size of baby each time in fruit size so i have something to compare to... but im also a second time mom who has taken a class on maternity and peds so i dont read it as much as i read the what to expect book....
Anyway if you have a smart phone there is the what to expect... app and other apps you can add as well... even on the internet there are places to sign up for daily emails... or check out you local library to check out whats out there for free...
Love what to expect !! Plus I have and use Your pregnancy week by week, and The girlfriends guide to pregnancy!! Love this one..very funny too!!! I also have a pregnancy nutritional cookbook that I love!!!
I love my what to expect book! Don't know whu you think it's not a good one...
I too love the book, What to expect when you're expecting.
I have what to expect when you're expecting and another great book called the pregnancy bible. It has all kinds of great info in it and great pictures to give you an idea of what your body and your baby should be looking like from a week by week view.
I also like my what to expect, I used it for both pregnacies and found it was thorough with a lot of good info. I like the weekly break downs, they are more detailed then the ones I get on my phone.
I love What to Expect When You're Expecting. It had a lot of helpful information. Another book I love is Great Expectations, hence the name. You can get it at Barnes and Noble. It is a nice book. It shows week by week pictures and vibrant details to all the changes.
That book is actually really good and full great info! I highly recommend it.
I also found what to exspect while your exspecting very helpful.. try amazon. They have a nice selection of books on pregnancy.
