I have a while until my baby will be eating food lol im only 17 weeks pregnant but i was wondering how many moms make their own baby food? Or plan too? Just curious because they found glass again in the baby food from stores and it scares me

W.my 2nd idid baby led weaning too , brought fresh veg/fruit & pureed & did it myself & sometimes idid the gerber too just check the gerber & taste it b4 giving it to your baby.

My friend made her own baby food. She wasn't working so she steamed everything on saturday pureed it on sunday night put It into the rubber ice cube things and froze them when it was time to heat them for her son she would put it in a sandwich bag and warm it up under hot water. She did that for about 6 months. It can be very time consuming and expensive due to having to buy everything g fresh she did everything organic and added seasoning to alot of the stuff she cooked.

Baby led weaning is what we did with our daughter. She's 10 months and already eats apples, sandwiches..stuff like that all by herself without chopping it up. Def doing it with our baby boy when he gets old enough

You give them what ever you are eating like start with avocado and then move on from there.
