My daughter was born with a ton of coal black hair, by 3 months it all fell out and when it came back in, it was blond lol. Also make sure everytime she is laying down she is laying on different sides of her head that way she doesnt bald in one area.

Normal when my niece was about  3 months or maybe earlier she lost a good chunk of her hair my sis took her to the docs cos she was concerned and the doc said its normal.  It will happen to some but not some he said it depends on what phase the hair is in when the babys born if its in the active phase means baby will loose their hair.  So mayb thats what it could be

My sister was born with a bunch of black hair very thick and long lost ALL of it around 3-4weeks old and took her five years to grow soft light blonde hair. Lol she was practically bald for 5yrs and even ny mom dressed her in blue dresses (match her blue eyes) people would still say 'aw! What a gorgeous boy you have' really p.o. my mom lol now shes 16yrs old and has to take this special shampoo to help thicknen her hair.

True stacyal every baby is different lol sorry if you're super concerned call her doctor and ask. Also take into consideration that hair patterns are genetic on the mothers side so if it happened to you when you were a baby, chances of it happening to your baby are pretty good.

Think it depends on baby, i know if they sleep with their head to the same side etc and harly move they can lose patches of hair. Mr hasn't got any patches but it has thinned out in two bits x

Yes very normal.
@stacy: I'm sure your baby/ies did loose hair, but sometimes their hair falls out while growing new hair so its very hard to notice.

Of course, if she's losing it by the chunks then if say call and get her checked. Or if her lashes/brows are shedding away completely as well. They have very little lashes but they shouldn't lose what they were born with there

Yes completely normal. My son lost alot of hair a month to two months after he was born. Its from all the rubbing and laying. :)

Yes it's very normal. A lot of what baby is born with is just to help regulate temperature and most babies shed bodily hair as well as hair on their head after being born. Also, depending on how baby lays or how she get held most frequently with her head touching things will determine it. Either way don't be worried, it's normal! =]
