Hi there! 29/05/13. my wife go under TVS scan. CRL is 21mm and the result say 8+2 weeks. I am confuse gain as i slept with her between 14/05/2013 to 23/05/2013. please some one explain to me this. i thought it should be 6 of 7 week pregnant.

Yes because the don't know the exact date of conception so the give you a 2 week window

Always add 2 weeks. She's 6+2 baby wise, 8+2 pregnancy wise. It's definitely yours, congratulations! Enjoy being a daddy!!

Ok the way that pregnancy is calculated, the first 2 weeks of pregnancy a woman is not actually pregnant. This is from Ovulation to conception. So don't stress out!! Pregnancy has a 2 week window where ate could be 2 weeks further along or less 2 weeks

Your baby is atachally 6weeks 2days.. The ultrascan adds 2 weeks to the baby. Congratulations its your baby :)
