AnnieBrooke thank u it makes sense n the app says nov 6 which is too confusing but i will defenitely ask the doc. No paternity problems thanked god my husband is happy daddy since we having a little girl. Thank you for the info girls!
Start counting when the doctor starts counting. I know this means that week 1 and week 2 are just waiting for you to ovulate, but that is how they count it. That is why a pregnancy, which is 266 days from conception to birth at full term, is counted as 280 days long by doctors. They have added two weeks at the front end, to back up to the first day of your last period. And everyone uses that language. All the books do. They say "11 weeks pregnant (9 weeks since conception)" and things like that. If you're wondering because there is a question about who the dad is, come over to the DNA/Paternity forum and write your first ultrasound date and what they said about your weeks pregnant then, and the due date they gave you then, and we can see how accurate November 6 would realistically be. It seems like it should be a bit later than that.
Kate037 so i start counting two after my period to know how far i am? Bc this app says im 23 weeks but if i count i end with 25 weeks n not 23. Its confusing me
It starts from the first day of your last period I believe. That's what my doctors are going with because it's hard to tell what day you actually conceived due to ovulation and and the like.
