My doctor had me take tums before I eat dinner and that seemed to help some, but not always.
Priolsec and previcid worked for me @ 39w3d nothing is working
My SIL told me maalox, the liquid kind, worked awesome, she got it quite a bit!
Yea I kinda just dealt with it. If its that bad ask your OB what he/she recommends. I would eat Tums also. they taste like chalk (literally) so I just stuck with the milk. Hope you feel better!
milk helps a tiny bit, but not enough to be comfortable enough to sleep.
LOL sorry for the laugh but I learned after pregnancy number 3 to just avoid tomato sauce or anything spicy after 20 weeks. So during my 4th I went acid free until 34 weeks when heartburn just showed up from scrambled eggs. But milk always worked or eating a plain piece of bread. I always bought the honey wheat since it had flavor. But the milk should help. Good luck!
