Does it matter if you use a receving blanket or swaddle on your new born ? They seem like basically the same thing or is there a diffence?
I would say swaddle for the first couple weeks, because baby is so used to being snug and bundled, and swaddle is meant to keep them that way. And you wouldn't want them to be totally taken out of there comfort zone too fast.
