Ive heard sex works, bouncing ln a yoga ball, fresh pineapple, evening primrose oil, hot showers, or even a prenatal massage. Me personally, Ive tried and am doing everything lol. The ball helped my little man drop down, the EPO and sex have actually helped soften and start to open my cervix and I am now having cramps pretty consistently. OH! and nipple stimulation is supposed to help. Ive done that as well using my breast pump :) My doc said that walking isnt all thst great because it just exhausts you and that its better to use a yoga ball . You get the same motion you were looking for without the exhaustion. Im 38 weeks and doc says anyday now. This is my first btw and thet said IF I go to 41 weeks I can and will be induced. Which is fine because I don't want to get past that! lol
This is my second baby with my first I had him the same day as his due date I was in labor for two hours! So it's so weird that my daughter's not here yet my doctor told me that she's going to come faster than my first. I guess I have to just wait and see what happens this weekend! Thank you & also good luck :)
Most ftm are 1-2 weeks over due. There's not much you can really do that works 100% for everyone that isnt inducing labor medically. You could try having an orgasm which causes your uterus to contract which could start labor. Sperm also has something in it that they actually use to induce women at the hospital. My midwife told us for the most part, you can mentally control it and to think of your cervics opening up. I don't know if any of these actually work. She was just giving us tips because if our daughter isn't born on her due date, my midwife is going to strip my membrane, which she said hurts. (My husband is military and if I'm not induced and she's late he'll miss her birth)
Thanks I hope it doesn't hurt . I'm such a baby lol I hate pain!
Im in so much pain already I don't think I can wait any longer. I don't mind getting induce I'm just scared it's gunna hurt more then natural labor. Thank you :)
I got induced it's not bad
If you don't want to get induced so soon you should tell your doctor that you want to postpone and give your body a chance to go into labor naturally - unless there's a really good reason concerning your particular medical situation they have to accept your refusal. Up to 42 weeks there's really no medical reason to induce and it puts so much more stress on both your body and your baby's. It's hard to wait but it is probably easier than dealing with the effects of pitocin. Good luck!
Yeahh I been walking for a week now and had sex but nothing :( I'm going to try both things again to see what happens! Thanks :)
have you tried going for walks and something about sex if you orgasm that's supposed to bring on contractions. I think sperm does something these are things I heard
