what are the chances

I was born at 8lbs and a few ounces, but my boyfriend and all his brothers were over 10lbs and my boyfriends 2 kids(not by me) were over 10lbs, and his brothers 2 kids were just under 10lbs and over 10lbs... what are the chances my baby will be over 10lbs?

I've always heard the baby weighs around what the mom and dad did but I'm not sure if it's true or not. I think it probably just depends on your pregnancy and when you deliver.

My first was 6 pounds 12 ounces born at 39+2 & my second was 8 pounds 1 ounce born at 39+4. I was 6 pounds 2 ounces when I was born and their daddy was almost 9 pounds.

I was a 7 pound baby, I'm 5'1" & 50kgs prior to being pregnant. My partner is 6'3" & weighs 100kgs or so, he was a big baby I can't remember what his mum said. Our daughter was born with huge feet & is slowly growing into them but was only 7 pound 1. Our son is due soon & they estimate 8-9 pound? So I don't know if it has anything to do with parents birth rates.

I weighed 8 lbs 6 Oz and my husband was 7 lbs 10 oz. Our first baby weighed 6 lbs 9 oz, our second weighed 7 lbs 3 oz, and our third I was told will be somewhere around lbs 7 oz.
