The doc said not to have sex for 6 weeks.  For those who got an episiotomy, How long did you actually wait.

Mine was so pintfull I think it was realisticly 10-11 weeks after and still was very soar !!! That was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life! It was BAD

Thank you! !!!! Making me feel more confident,than ever! Yes those contractions had me shaking I swear!I was like what the flip with the epidural hahaha and when they told me push. .. I was like.. yeah I'm not feeling anything and it sucked cause I felt horribly numb afterwards cause it hit me afterwards which I thought was so dumb.. r.r

Girl yes those contractions are worse. You can do it next time and trust me you won't feel the cut and they numb you for the stitches

I did but I honestly felt everything up until I had to push. That's when I didn't feel anything.. they've told me the contractions is the hardest part so I'm feeling confident I can do it without an epidural,, but then again I wouldn't want to feel the cut or stitches lol?

I didn't get an epidural,  yay me Lol but yes I pray it's a very fast recovery.  My stitches have started to fall off

Everyone's different it also might depend how much they cut you. If you're doing fine then it might be a fast recovery for you. I was in agonizing pain,ever since the epidural wore off in the hospital and got worse after days: (

6~7 weeks. Maybe more for me. My cut was awful.. well it felt really awful:( felt like everything would fall off every time I would get up

Omg I lasted over a month for it to heal. My cut hurt like hell and it felt like forever. I was so scared to even try.

We tried around 4 weeks and it was PAINFUL. Felt like my stitches was ripping away. I had to wait about two months before having sex again.
