Idk what atole is but Ovaltine is a chocolate milk drink. Didnt y'all ever see the commercials with the happy kids and the moms in the kitchen whispering about how much healthier Ovaltine is than nestle or Hershey's? Then the kids would shout."MORE OVALTINE PLZ!" Omg I love the stuff!Anywho a ffriend of mine actually told me to try it and I couldn't get my milk to STOP

Maybe another thing to try Is try to pump juss for a little bit right before feeding her to get your nips to perk up and try to put her on the breast, then If she gets too frustrated give her some bottle to ease the hunger then try again.

yes ive actually tried that, where shes drinking from the bottle and once she finishes that i give her my nipple. sometimes shell get it, but like RARELY, and if she does, she ***** on it once and stops.. :/ i also try when shes calm and a bit sleepy and i find her moving her mouth and shell try get it  but idk what happens and she stops :/ and also i cant get her in a comfortable position.. shell push away from my breast.. its stressing me..:(

If shes getting too frustrated cause shes so hungry, start her with a bottle, just a little bit tho, only to take the edge off her hunger, and then switch her to boob...maybe shes just too worked up to latch on like she needs too...or have her suckon your knuckle fir a sec until you can get her to latch.

Juss keep tryin' hun. It took us about a week, 2 weeks for us to get It right. Don't give up and don't feel like a failure! It's a learning experience! Try different holds as well, like the Football hold, Cradle hold, etc. do you have a Boppy Pillow? That might help too. No problem, glad I can help!!! Yea, pretty much, I got the capsules In the pharmacy dept. In Walmart. I wish you luck girl! I know you can do It! =-D

You can try using a nipple shield. I heard those will help for a baby to latch on the nips. It took me and baby awhile to get the whole latch correctly. He would cry cry cry and I would get so frustrated 'cuz I thought I was failing and I wouldn't be able to breastfeed, but we both learned and now It's awesome. =-] I'm takin' FENUGREEK Capsules to produce more milk since my baby Is a fatty and wants to eat constantly and I have to pump tons of bottles for when I gotta go back to work. It works wonders!!! You can also trying pumping after baby eats, that's supposed to help Increase milk too.

I was a milk factory until she weaned herself. I'm talking I had to pump and freeze milk because I made so much. Give it a couple days by the end of the week you should be dairy farm worthy.

to get her to latch on, try squeezing you areola a little to make your nipple more prominent and to get theareole into her mouth, i occassionally have to do this with baby boy if he too tired at night feeds to latch on himself x

Try to make her latch. It may take u 3-4  where u have to stick ur baby to ur breasts for hours with small breaks in between. The more baby ***** the more milk will be produced. Pumping can also solve the prob but as ur baby is just 8-10days old pumping wont help much. In the beginning baby needs to suck to increase ur milk supply. Only ur baby can do this job perfectly than a pump. U can start pumping after few days though. :)
