c section tales

I'm booked to have a c section on the 23rd and wanted to hear experiences good and bad. I'm really over weight 350lb so am concerned

Yep, the actual surgery is fairly quick...mine are a tad longer because there is previous scar tissue my doc had to be careful of, but generally from start of surgery to them finishing is no longer than 45 mins...unless there would be some kind of emergency, but all of mine have gone very smooth!    Mommabear, are you feeling uncomfortable or just uncomfortable with a c-section in general?? Just checking ur ok hun.

Happyfeet..just to answer ur q abt how long a standard c-section is, u usually need to be at the hospital 1 1/2 to 2 hrs b4 the surgery is scheduled for the nurses to get u settled n then to be prepped for the surgery, the actual surgery lasts 30/45 mins...then an hour in recovery b4 taken back to ur room...:-)
