I had an emergency c-section as well with my first this time my doctor scheduled my c-section at 39 weeks. If I show signs of labor though they'll give me another emergency since they can't risk me going into labor.

My Dr said that by law she can only schedule a csection at 39+1 or further but if I go into labor anytime after 34 weeks she will do the csection then.. I scheduled my csection at my last appt and I was 24+4 my baby will be here when I'm 39+4 on Feb 18th!
