cake flavors for baby shower

What is a good cake flavor for a baby shower? Something everyone is gonna like?...and also the girl thats making the cake asked me for how many people only about 20 people responded and said they were coming, and I invited 40...so should I tell her 20 to 25 people or say screw it and make it for at least 35?

I have to be careful. My hubby's side of the family has chocolate allergies so I have to stick with white or yellow cake typically. Lemon bars would be yummy.

I'd say go ahead and guess 35. Just to be safe. People can take home extra cake. I've never met anyone who doesn't like red velvet cake. Lol.

I would say 25-35 and you could always do half and half with flavors

I would round up && just say 35 to be on the safe side , besides who doesn't love leftover cake ! && if you want something everyone likes just stick with plain chocolate or vanilla . Maybe a marble ? Im thinking of red velvet for mine . Yummm .
