can this cause a false pos?

i just took a pregnancy test (ept) and it came out positive (yay!) my question is, i have been taking hydroxycut for the past week, and i didnt know if that could cause a false positive?

stop taking it immediately though because there are lots of things in that that can harm the babies development this early on.  You can always go to your docotr and have them take your HCG level because i do not think there is HCG in hydroxycut, but of course we never know with supplements like them.

If it contains HCG in it, then it could cause a false positive. Call EPT (there should be a number on teh box) and speak with one of their representatives. Only they will be able to let you know what meds affect THEIR tests! Good luck to you!

I wouldnt think it would give you a false possitive.  Doen it have horomones in it?
