I want a water birth as well, once babes decides to make an appearace (8 days overdue and counting)       but it depends on whether the birthing pool is available, there are only two pools for a 16 bed labour ward, so I'm hoping its available.   My midwife said they do it at body temp (37.5 degrees) over here in the UK, and its meant to help a little.....I want as natural a birth as I possibly can, but I ain;t ruling anything out hahaha x

I wanted to do a water birth but couldn't afford a midwife :( most obgyns won't do them because of the risks. The hospital I'll be at will let me labor in the tub but I'm not actually allowed to have her in there. They'll make me het out at a certain point
