church vent!

So my fiance and I were invited out to lunch by one of the preachers at the church we go to. He said he had things to discuss with us, well we went to church and I noticed that some of the people who have always been nice to me (since getting pregnant I rarely leave the house) were staying away from me. Well the preacher talked with us and some people at church are upset that we are not married yet.

Before I became pregnant we had been planning to get married but there are financial issues that made us push the date back till after we gave the baby. Well I'm upset that they are judging us even though their supposed to be good Christian people. My fiance doesn't understand why I'm so upset, am I right to believe they should mind their own buisness since they have no clue what is going on?

...well its a sin to have sex out of wedlock, I mean me and my fiance are getting married but its still a sin and you gotta face not every one will be happy, I believe you can't judge a person for there sin unless you have no sins of your own, but if your a Christian the Bible clearly states every one sins. Maybe explain that to your preacher because yes alot of people judge without looking at there own sins, and if they don't want to be around you now they weren't friends. The Bible says hate the sin not the sinner.

In the bible(I don't remember where) it says a church is a place where 2 or more people go to worship. If you feel judged going to a "real" church, maybe you and you fiancé can get recorded services and stay home for church.

That is how our pastor is, and the few people that have known my fiance for many years and know what a good guy is. Once my daughter is here if any of them say one off colored word about her or us them I'm going to be staying my butt at home on Sundays lol or there will be problems.

Some ppl at my church make me feel like tht. especiallu since my fiance and i got married when i.was 16 and then divorced and now weve been together for a couple yrs and im pregnant and also due in 13 days. Certain ppl act like i have some contagious disease and look at me like im a failure. but r pastor is very nice and welcomes us.

Well ssimms actually I haven't been to church since like four months because I began having a lot of pain in my stomach and going out became to hard so no one gas seen me there in months and though they talk to my fiance and ask how I'm doing its like this is a new development. And yeah I came close to telling one couple that when they snatched their son away from me.

Would you consider finding a new church? They dont soynd like an accepting or welcoming place:( im sorry youre dealing with that, id feel like "the plague" too.

What hypocrites, it's like they're perfect and don't do wrong.     -__- deff don't pay any mind to those people they should mind their own business and stay out of other people's lives.. Unless they're willing to help pay for your wedding since it bothers them that much, like someone else said lol

That's the reason most people don't go to church because of people that stare and judge but I wonder why they all of a sudden feel a certain way if they didn't from the beginning that's weird

Yeah he is trying to help us out cuz so many people have come to him and complained, he knows what's going on but doesn't want to talk to others about our personal life without talking to us first. I'm due in like two weeks its a bit late to be looking down on me now lol, the biggest thing is they have been so nice and now its like I have the plague and they stare at me like a side show. That's why I hate going to church cuz the feeling of being stared at is unnerving and just plain rude.

Yeah You're Right, I Don't Like Churches Like That. They're Suppose To Be Christians But They're Judging & Looking Down On Someone But They're On The Outside Lookin In. Just Don't Let It Get To You & Stress U Out

Wow so the preacher actually had this convo with you guys smh and since they're so concerned tell them to pay for the wedding lol they seriously have no right to judge especially when they don't even know what's going on.
