I am six weeks pregnant. I have a cup of coffee every morning. Not more than that. Is that ok? Has anybody asked their doctor about this. Unfortunately my doctor doesn't see pregnant patients until they are 8 weeks along (I wish they would sooner) so I haven't been able to ask

I drink 2 8oz coffees a day, sometimes even more but not much. Your baby is fine. Talk to the dr when u go for ur app. To help ease your mind some more. Im 35weeks today. Congrats on bein 6wks, =) didnt find out I was prego with my second till I was 8weeks lol:)

Also, does your Dr's office have an option to talk to a nurse when you call them? When I call my Dr I can talk to a receptionist to schedule an appt or talk to a nurse if I have a question or concern. (Like the other day I called and talked to a nurse to find out what I could do for my heartburn.) Forums like these are GREAT, but don't forget, when it gets further along, some issues and questions should also be directed to your doctor.

I stopped drinking anything with caffeine the minute I found out I was pregnant, but yes, you can safely have 200mg of caffeine/day and not have any issues with it. As long as you aren't drinking soda pop with caffeine too, you are fine. :)

My dr was fine with caffeine. My baby girl is just fine. I drank coffee and soda the whole time. So did my sisters and all 5 of their boys are fine. 1 cup a day is really ok. You can call your dr office and just ask the nurse tho. They should answer that for you

No coffein in any way, especially coffee products as soon as you are pregnant. Have decaf only.

I drink a cup every morning too wakes the little man up for awhile lol i love it. Plus i can't say no to my coffee its just so darn delicious!! (: I'm almost 25w

U are allowed to have 203mg of caffeine a day which is n a cup of coffee. Don't wry u aren't doing anything wrg. To b honest I drink more caffeine than that an my kids r fine I'm on my 3rd pregnancy. Every once in awhile I will drink a energy drink makes bby hyper but I did with my other pregnancies an my 2 r fine. I know I shouldn't but its a weakness for me. Congrats on ur pregnancy. I'm 27 wks almost 28wks.

You are allowed up to 2 cups of coffee a day so you are fine. It is always hard waiting for your first appointment but hang in there and if you have any questions just ask on here. Good luck!
