placenta previa ?

20 weeks and doctor says placenta is half over my cervix. just wondering if anyone had dealt with this beforeI feel nervous

I had this with my son and am yet waiting to find out wether i have it with this one. I had complete placenta previa at my 20 week scan and at 32 weeks it had moved and i had an amazing labour and delivery. They say 9 times out of 10 it moves. Good luck x

I am 30 weeks pregnant right now and 4 months ago I had a complete placenta preevia and just had an ultrasound Dec 27th and my placenta moved and now I can give birth vaginally!:) my midwife said 99% of women who have this there placenta moves

i had the same problem with my youngesr son. i wouldnt worry about it to much. i was 21 weeks & the us tech told me it was completely over my cervix. they told not to worry in a few weeks it should move. it doesnt stay in its perement position untill about 28 weeks i believe he said. & i had an US @ 32 weeks & it did move . you should get another US around 30 weeks. thats when they can tell for sure.

I had it with my last pregnancy and it shifted by 28 weeks I believe.

I had it with 2 of my pregnacies. Fortunately as I got bigger the placenta shifted far enough where I could deliver vaginally. If it doesn't shift you will have to have a c-section. I wish u the best of luck :-)
