There's really nothing you can do to prevent it and worry isn't good for you and your baby, and will just rob you of the joy of pregnancy and your little one. I know it's hard not to worry, but try to distract yourself with more positive things, positive thoughts...you'll never really stop worrying, but at least it won't occupy so much of your thoughts.

Have you miscarried before? I'm only asking because I didn't have any worries during my first pregnancy, miscarried my second, and now, during my third, am still worried at 19 weeks even though I feel baby moving now. There isn't a lot you can do. Stay positive, take care of yourself, and have faith.

Last year I had an ultrasound at 9 weeks, baby was healthy with a strong heartbeat. Went back at 12 weeks for a checkup and the baby had died. But usually they say that after seeing/hearing the heartbeat the chance of miscarriage drops!! So try not to think negative thoughts, and enjoy ur baby and ur pregnancy :)

Chances for miscarriage are low already, and now you have seen the heartbeat and the chance is even lower. Im sure you will have a healthy pregnancy, try not to stress. I miscarried my first pregnancy, missed miscarriage, and with this pregnancy i was completely scared it was going to happen again. So i know how you feel with the unknown. But im 23 weeks with a healthy lil boy. Relax, and before you know it s/he will be kicking you! Lol

My doctor told me that once u see the heartbeat the chances of MC drop alot. Try not to stress. I know it's easier said then done,  I was the same way until I got further along.
