cookie dough?

Is it dangerous to eat a LITTLE bit of raw cookie dough?

Thank you! Me and my friend are making cookies tonight and I always end up eating a little dough but I didn't wanna hurt my little man. I'm not gonna shove it all in my face but little bits every now and then

If the eggs in the batter have salmonella bacteria in them, it likely wouldn't matter if you had a tiny nibble or the whole batch, you'd probably get sick either way. The vast majority of eggs bought at supermarkets are safe, but there's still a chance of illness. It's kind of a gamble - but it doesn't really stop me. Cookie dough is awesome. (Though if I've really got a hankering for it, I get some Ben+Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream. They've got a no-egg version that's fantastic. Plus, ice cream. Yum.)

A little bit never hurt anyone if you are concerned you can make eggless cookie dough that is just for eating off the spoon! Lol enjoy momma

If your just kicking the spoon or tasting it it's fine I just wouldn't eat a large amount

Ive eaten small amounts off cookie dough and cupcake and brownie batter and my little girl is perfectly healthy
