could I be pregnant after mirena?

I had my Mirena removed on 7/20/10 after 2yrs.  I did not have a period the entire time I had my mirena in place, and still have not.  I had light spotting about 2 days after removal, but nothing since.  I have taken multiple hpt all with negetive results.  Has anybody else had this issue?  Any ideas on when I could expect my period?  Has anybody got prego after having their Mirena removed before actually having a period?

I did call the doctor on Friday and spoke with a nurse, the nurse told me 2 wait until at least 8 weeks after removal 2 begin 2 worry about not having a menstural cycle.  However after having several pregnancy symptoms I retested this moring and got a positive result.

It could take a little bit for your body to readjust after having the mirena removed so it may take a little bit for your cycle to return and exactly when it will return is different from woman to woman.

Although it is possible to get pregnant soon after having it removed and with out having started your cycle yet

Technically it is possible to get pregnant before you get a period, because you will ovulate and then you get your period. You should get seen by a doctor though, so they can tell you if you are or not though, and what might be preventing your periods from happening if you're not. Some women just take a few months to adjust and you only had yours taken out not even two months ago.
