could this be heavy implantation bleeding?

hi my name is jess and im 17 and a half years old. i know that sounds very young to be asking about this, but ive been with my partner for a year and a half now, and the entire time ive been taking loette. ive never missed a pill but there have been times ive taken it late (about 2 to 3 hours). at the moment im experiencing symptoms which are similar to what people say is implantation bleeding. it is about a week and a halg before my period is due, and my period has never been early or late. ive never had spotting or breakthrough bleeding before on the pill. the bleeding im having started yesterday with light bleeding that didnt fill any more than half of my panty liner. i left a panty liner on last night while i slept and woke up to find dark purplish/brownish blood in the liner, but not as much as a normal period. my periods are normally very heavy and need more than just a panty liner. this bleeding im having also smells different and im feeling nausea and cramping. could someone tell me if theyve had a similar experience?

well ive been thinking about booking a doctors apointment soon because of the heaviness of it. im a little worried now that it might be a miscarriage

implantation bleeding is rarely ever heavy...to give yourself peace of mind try taking a home preg test in 3 days and that will tell you your answer

Ive been having the same problem but i stopped taking the pill about a year ago. my periods are normally pretty heavy and very painful, i had a bit of pinky redish blood in my pants the other day and then it stopped and i had bits of spotting on tissue when ive been to the bathroom, im so confused like you are but i dont know yet wether im pregnant or not x

The only thing you can do really is wait for when your period is due and test. But even tho your birth control hasn't done anything goofy to your system doesn't mean it couldn't...
