Blood work

I am 19 years old, first time mom, 17 weeks 5 days along and due in April 2015. I got my blood work done on Tuesday to check for any abnormalities that the baby may have. I received a call today from my doctor saying my test results were above normal so I have to go back in on the 18th to get another blood test done. Has any other mom gone through this and had a healthy baby? I'm praying all is well and just need some extra comfort. Any advice is muchly appreciated!

I've looked it up because I just had mine last Friday and I've read that the test gives alot of false positives, the what to expect when your expecting book says that only 1-2 out of the 50 women with high testing eventually proved to have a baby with any of the problems, the other 48-49 says that the false positive may have been from misdating the fetus or just a wrong test
