Given your situation it is not surprising you are depressed. I don't think it is the pregnancy, per se, but the pregnancy under unfavorable conditions. The sad thing is that money would probably make things right. If you are not presently working, can you get a job? Could you go home to live with your parents?
I felt very depressed in the beginning of my pregnancy too. Do you live where it's cold right now? That could make it worse. Lack of sun and vitamin D. Also talking to someone like a therapist may help you. Mine got better with time but I was going to talk to someone about it if it didn't.
@ allmymarbles actually I'm not alone but lately if feels like that..my bf has changed alot recently so I think that's one of the reasons why..but he also lost his job so rite now the only income is welfare and foodstamps :( I also live with his family and they really dnt like me..but the main reason is because I have 2 kids and they live with there grandparents so the only time I have them with me is everyother wknd..I just have a lot on my hands rite now..
Thanks I actually have am appt. To see my Dr..tomorrow im going to mention it to her to see wat advice she gives me..
Do you live alone and lack company? Does having the baby introduce a problem into your life. Why do you think you are depressed?
I'm going through the same thing but I'm also having horrible anxiety too! I heard if you talk to your doctor then can prescribe depression medicine that's okay during pregnancy but I haven't tried yet! But I suggest talking to your doctor right away. As of now I'm just really trying to relax and keeping busy will help take your mind off the depression. Try looking at maternity and Baby clothes! Online or even at the store! I love looking at cute baby clothes online! It relaxes me!
