dermal piercings

Do any of you know if I will have to take them out before delivery? They are on my lower back as dimples. I really don't want to take them out as they would have to be surgically removed. But will if it will affect my delivery. Any insight would help!

I took mines out a week ago . They never truly heal all the way and your more prone to infection. I had mines above my belly button

I have my nose, eyebrow and my ears pierced  I didn't have to take anything out. But I think if you get an epi it should be okay if they are on your lower back and they are surface piercings. You could call your hospital just to check and make sure.

I think it might effect you getting an epidural if you want one. They'd probably just bandaid over them if you have a csection. I almost couldn't get my tragus out before my section and they said they'd just bandaid over it
