I had one in 2008... The baby didn't grow right so they did a d and c. Then something "grew back". I ended up having to go to an oncologist for about 4 months to get chemotherapy(methotrexate) every week until my hcg levels were under 2. It was sooo tiring and the shots hurt like h***. The nausea from the chemo stuck around for about 2 years afterward. It was an ordeal to say the least. Then last year I had an ectopic that ruptured my right falopian tube... Im 31 weeks pregnant now with a baby boy! Finally...

Sorry to hear you went threw all that. I didn't even know I was pregnant until.I was 9 weeks I had no symtoms I never started period so Thats how I found out. And I spotted brown blood for weeks. Went to my first apt and there was no.heartbeat on ultersound . My levels went down in few months. The doc out me on a pill I put in my vagina I Cant remember what its called it startsI with a p and I did that until I hit 12 weeks. I'm sure everything will be ok this time just nervous. I thought I would go to doc.more often and get more ultersounds but they said my first ultersiund look normal.....

Congrats to you as well! Thank you. I wish I could say the nervousness goes away but it doesn't. But you hit 12 weeks! Yay. I expexted to see the ob more as well. My hubby is in the Marines so I think I go to the dr less than most people due to military medicine... I felt a little better after my 20 week scan. Everyone says I'll be nervous until he's in my arms.No one expects to be the person that doesn't have the "normal" pregnancy.Try to keep your spirits up. I'll pray for you! CONGRATS again!!!

Wow molar pregnancies are very rare and scary!!!!  Not to sound rude but are either of you asian?  They say that it is more common if you are!  Good luck to you both on your current pregnancies and I hope nothing like that ever happens to you again!

I had one in 2010 and I was terrified my entire pregnancy that something was going to go wrong. I prayed every single day to have a healthy baby. The partial molar killed me. I never thought i would recover from that. I now have a healthy 5 week old little boy. Congratulations on your rainbow baby! I don't know you but I can tell you I am so happy you are going to experience such a wonderful gift!
