hCG levels slighly dropping
I am currently 10 weeks pregnant. Friday, I was getting ready for work. I stood up after blowdrying my hair, and I felt like I had urinated on myself. I placed my hand on my knee, and it was covered in blood. I had no pain or cramps. We rushed to the ER thinking we had just miscarried. I was extremely upset. We found out that I had not miscarried (yet). I was hemorrhaging from just beneath the baby's gestational sac. The doctor told us if the bleeding stopped on its own, we would probably be fine. However, we then found out that our baby's hCG numbers had slightly dropped from 87000 on Friday morning to a little more than 81000 on Saturday morning. the doctor said that he is a little concerned, but feels that the numbers will go back up once the bleeding completely stops. I know what hCG numbers dropping means. I need someone out there to give me some hope that I will be able to keep my baby.

Yay! I'm so glad they went up and the little one is doing well! I just wanted to let you know that I had a really similar experience when I was 15 weeks pregnant. I woke up in the middle of the night, went into the bathroom, and had a gush of blood all the way down my legs. They said I probably had a partial placenta abruption. Anyway, I was on bed rest for 2 weeks, and the rest of the pregnancy went fine. My little man is now a healthy 4 month old! Good luck with everything!
Praise the Lord! The levels did go back up, and my baby and I are doing great! I am 10 weeks and 3 days along with a heart rate of 174! I am so very happy right now. Thank you for your well wishes!
I am going in today to the OB/GYN to be tested again! I have stayed in the bed as instructed and prayed fervently! Thank you for your good comments. Im scared to death.

Unfortunately at this point it's anyones guess. It IS likely that if the bleeding stops the HCG levels can go back up and the baby will be just fine. Try not to over stress yourself worrying right now becuase it can only make matters worse. Are they going to retest your HCG levels in a few days? How is the bleeding now?
